Program Assistant - Lakeside Child & Adolescent Center
Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Assistant - Lakeside Child & Adolescent Center located at Bloomingdale, GA / Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). Shift will be 10:00am - 6:30pm.
This position performs a variety of clerical duties and specialized / essential clerical support functions and processes for the unit. Maintains daily clerical operations for the unit. Responsible for maintaining consumer charts, ensuring that progress notes and physician orders are printed and filed accordingly. Monitoring and updating bed census and room changes daily. Will process discharge records, ensuring that all documents are signed and billing information is forwarded to business office as required. Ensures charts are submitted to medical records in a timely manner as directed by the agency.
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience OR One year of vocational/ technical school or college education OR One year at the lower level or at an equivalent position
High School Diploma or GED and two years of customer service experience. Experience working with children/adolescents in an inpatient medical and/or psychiatric setting. Valid Driver's License from the state in which candidate resides and clear MVR record.
