Operations Analyst 3 - Intake & Evaluation

Job Description

Job Responsibilities include:
  • Authorizes eligible consumers to participate in DD waiver program through WIS
  • Utilizes existing databases to provide financial information for State Grant in Aid allocations
  • Assists in the planning and development of a utilization management and fiscal tracking and accounting system for the statewide MR/DD Medicaid Waiver programs to be implemented regionally for existing consumers
  • Gathers, compiles and analyzes fiscal and service utilization data
  • Researches and responds to internal and external inquiries concerning spending and utilization trends, program issues, billing problems, rules and regulations
  • Prepares reports of findings and analysis. Makes recommendations to region/Office of DD for operational changes
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Qualifications

Completion of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university AND one year of related experience OR one year experience at the lower level or position equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree


Excellent customer service skills

Ability to communicate and write clearly in English

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel  (excellent skills managing a database)

Must have experience working with GAMMIS system
