The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Psychologist at Georgia Regional Hospital At Savannah (please visit www.garegionalsavannah.com for more information).
Diagnose or evaluate behavioral, emotional and cognitive disorders through observation, interview, and psychological tests. Applies theory relating to behavior and mental processes to formulate and administer programs of treatment that may include counseling, therapy and research. Helps individuals work toward the maintenance and enhancement of physical, intellectual, emotional, social and interpersonal functioning. Assesses, treats, and assists with clarification of diagnosis for individuals in an Adult MH inpatient setting.

A current Georgia license to practice psychology (license may be temporary, provisional, or permanent)
Must obtain the Safety Care certification by completion of new employee orientation. Prior experience, training, or leadership in applied behavioral analysis. Prior experience working with an inpatient psychiatric population. Prior experience working within a state, federal, or other treatment setting.
