Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant at East Central Regional Hospital located in Augusta, GA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with operation, management and planning for the Clinical Director's Office
  • Management of increasingly complex task of credentialing/re-credentialing the medical staff
  • Management and scheduling the monthly physician on-call roster for 24-hour coverage at all times
  • Management of Locum Tenen contracts

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree 

OR 

Three years of work related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to those who, in addition to meeting the above qualifications, also possess the following:

  • Experience providing administrative functions to support upper level management
  • Experience managing calendar for supervisors
  • Excellent computer, communication, and written skills
  • Experience taking minutes and meetings
  • Experience with credentialing medical staff
  • Knowledge of Human resources procedures and forms
  • Experience in scheduling 24-hour monthly physician on-call roster
  • Ability to multitask and facilitate task in fast-paced setting
