Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Rehabilitation Services Chief.

 Job Description:

Rehabilitation Services Chief is responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, and operations of the Rehabilitation Program / Services. Ensures rehabilitation staff is providing appropriate care to MH individuals in keeping with established standards for quality and in accordance with generally established principles of care. Supervises the scheduling of individuals for therapy services considering available treatment hours, staff resources and overall plan of care. Manages the evaluation and development of Activity Therapy programs and services, PSR Mall programs and services. Oversees and coordinates the Rehabilitation Mentor activities. Completes required forms and documents in accordance with hospital policy and state and/or federal regulations. May be required to perform individual care duties as per their licensed discipline.


Qualifications

Current or eligible for Georgia licensure in area of assignment AND Three years of clinical experience in area of assignment OR Three years of experience at a level equivalent to the lower level (HCP041)

Preferred Qualifications

A Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Occupational Therapist, Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor, or Licensed Professional Counselor who has a minimum of at least two years supervisory experience AND at least two years of experience working directly with persons with serious mental illness. Experience in developing and implementing a psychiatric rehabilitation program; developing and implementing the facility's staff training and in-service programs relating to the psychiatric rehabilitation program; and ensuring the coordination and monitoring of the residents' participation in  the psychiatric rehabilitation program according to their individualized Rehabilitation Plan (IRP).
