Forensic Services Technician 2 - Forensic Unit #5 2nd shift
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Forensic Services Technician 2 at Georgia Regional Hospital At Savannah (please visit www.garegionalsavannah.com for more information about the hospital). Full-time position available on following units:
Forensic Unit #5 (3:00p-11:30p)
Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. Completes required documentation in patient and unit records. Takes vital signs as needed and document accordingly in the Electronic Medical Record. Ensures safety and security of clients. Observes and documents patient data, behavior and activity. Prepares clients for treatments or examinations. Transports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units. May assist with bathing or activities of daily living. Provides supervision of support staff.
High School Diploma or GED AND One year of experience in a related field OR One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent
Valid driver's license from the state of Georgia or from the state in which candidate resides. One year of experience as a Forensic Services Technician or equivalent position OR two years experience in a Leadership Security position.
