Property and Supply Clerk
Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Property and Supply Clerk.
This position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Receiving and processing incoming supplies and equipment from vendors.
- Immediate distribution of received supplies appropriate unit/department.
- Maintains and organizes storage areas for cleanliness and stocks.
- Communicate with various offices, units and vendors to resolve problems of shipments.
- Provide customer service through direct contact or by phone conversation.
- Count and inspect incoming supplies and equipment on arrival.
- Assist supervisor with property control by labeling new equipment and varies inventories.
Completion of a high school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in shipping and receiving OR Completion of vocational/technical school program OR One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent (FES010) Note: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license
Possession of the basic knowledge of warehouse and property procedures. The ability to learn the functions of a general supply warehouse which include receiving, processing, stocking and delivering supplies. Valid Driver's License required from the state in which candidate resides and must have a clear MVR driving record . Proficient in MS Office, to include creating Excel spreadsheets, and be able to learn new specialized computer inventory systems.
