The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Disabilities is seeking a Hospital Administrator for Georgia Regional Hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia


Job Responsibilities include:
  • Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the delivery of health services
  • Develops and implements related policies and procedures
  • Monitors and evaluates healthcare programs
  • Provides leadership to subordinate managers and staff

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field and four years experience performing management responsibilities in a health care services environment OR Masters degree in a related field and three years experience performing management responsibilities in a health care services environment OR Doctorate degree and two years experience performing management responsibilities in a health care services environment OR Two years at the lower level or position equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years hospital experience at the CEO level


Demonstrated experience improving behavioral health service quality at C level in large complex behavioral health organizations

Experience working with DOJ settlement agreements

Demonstrated ability to seek creative solutions to complex organization-wide issues

Fact finding/investigatory skills

Ability to question the way things have been done

Experience managing CRIPA Compliance

Familiarity/expertise with JHACO

Graduate degree in health care, business administration or related area
