The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and
Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the
position of Operations Analyst II at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital

Performs data analysis on current operations of a project,
program, agency or function. Conducts organizational studies and evaluations,
designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplifications and measurement
studies, and recommends regulations to assist management in operating more
efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes
programmatic and operational data Investigates and documents underlying trends,
irregularities and possible causes for changes in data
- Creates and maintains databases of
requests or statistical data for future reference
- Develops and applies time and cost
networks to plans and projects
- Evaluates data for quality and
- Performs validation and testing of
plan to ensure adequacy
- Prepares reports, and makes
recommendations or determinations based on analysis
- Responds to routine and special
requests for data
- Skill in using relevant computer
- Ability to use job-specific tools to
- Ability to prepare reports tailored to
the agencies' needs
- Ability to acquire needed data
- Ability to combine information from
- Knowledge of departments' operating
Completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent
Four years of related experience
Preference will be given to those who, in
addition to meeting the above qualifications, also possess the following:
- Knowledge of quality
management and improvement principles
- Advanced skills in Data
Tracking, Aggregation, and Analysis using computer systems
- Advanced computer
skills using Excel, Access, and Crystal reports
- Knowledge of DBHDD Risk and Incident Management Systems

This position is located at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
