The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental
Disabilities (DBHDD), Human Resource Management Department, is seeking
qualified candidates for the position of Recruitment Technician. This
position is located on the campus of Georgia Regional Hospital At Savannah.
Job Summary: This position reports to the Recruiter and is an
entry-level recruitment position. This position is a vital member of the
Recruitment and Selection team, providing coordination of the hiring process. This
includes, but is not limited to:
training sessions for managers and their designees involved in the hiring
- Processes hire packets, including salary
administration and determining job qualifications are met
- Processes new hires, ensuring that all personnel
file forms are complete and accurate, and sends new hires to drug
- Creates, distributes, and maintains new hire lists,
maintains Criminal History Record Information(CHRI) logs, maintains CHRI
files, processes CHRI
- Pulls PeopleSoft queries to support staffing
projects and salary determination.
- Enters all new hires in E-verify system
semi-monthly, checking I-9 forms and following up with new hires on
- Assists Recruiter as needed in making offers, checking
references, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, posting
High school diploma and two years experience performing
personnel related functions Or One year at the lower level or position
equivalent (HRT011) Or Associate's degree
Preference will be given to applicants who
have current or past experience in an HR office/environment. Customer Service
experience and experience using PeopleSoft, HRIS, MS Word, MS Excel, MS
PowerPoint, Kronos, and Sharepoint. Experience assisting with Recruitment in a large
company. Experience providing training to managers and employees. Excellent
prioritization, organization, and time-management skills. Consistent Follow-up and Follow-through skills. Multi-tasking and focus is required. Bachelor's degree in
related field preferred.
